We search the database either for possible candidates or for contacts who can recommend candidates. These contacts may not necessarily be on the designated list of companies: for example, advertising agents can usually comment on marketing personnel with client companies; academics in food science know leading personalities in food R&D, retail buyers know the best sales managers, etc.
Our database supports the ‘search’ process. We do not rely on it for ‘shortlist’ candidates. It is an essential tool in providing contacts who can identify talented candidates. It aids our thorough examination of the marketplace.
Interviewing: during an interview, a candidate from the designated target list of companies often provides information on ‘talent’ within his/her company.
Candidates (known to us) who have recently left a target company are good sources of information on ‘talent’ within that company. Our database is designed to highlight such candidates.
